Sometimes, it's this kind of experience many of us lack in life.
The creators spent nearly five years gathering proverbs from all kinds of countries: from Ukraine, England, and Italy to Ethiopia, Yakutia, and China. Having dug through massive amounts of folklore, they hand-picked 1500 of the most spot-on and fitting proverbs that made their way into the final game.
So, what does Handy Proverbs has to offer as a game?
For simplicity, the best analogy would be sortes reading, i.e. seeking guidance by a chance selection of a passage on a random page of the book.
In our game, however, it's not the blind chance that determines the choice. What you get are not randomly selected phrases but spot-on proverbs hand-picked by the creators for every occasion.
